UNC J-school welcomes NCSMA Journalism Teaching Fellows
July 9, 2015

The N.C. Scholastic Media Association and the School of Media and Journalism each summer welcome a group of high school journalism educators selected to be NCSMA Journalism Teaching Fellows. These teachers participate in a graduate-credit course focused on scholastic media education. The 2015 course is “Teaching Photojournalism in the Secondary School,” scheduled for July 5-11. UNC J-school faculty member Steven King is the instructor.
NCSMA’s Journalism Education Fellowship Program allows teachers to enroll in this intensive, one-week, short-term summer course. Tuition, textbooks and lodging are included in the fellowship award.
