Local election coverage 

Under a bright fall sky, Orange County voters went to the polls Tuesday to fill positions in municipal and school board elections.

Chapel Hill voters selected a mayor and four Town Council members. In Carrboro, voters selected a mayor and three members of the Board of Aldermen. Hillsborough voters selected a mayor and three council members. Four members of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of Education were decided by voting Tuesday.
